Not all maps of the original game are swapped for their day and night versions. However, the mod is quite limited in its application. It now feels like a different game altogether, with your expectations of the enemies and being subverted thanks to the visibility factor. While this looks like a minor modification to the Valve game, it actually changes your gameplay experience. Simply put, stages set in the daytime are now turned into night and vice versa. As mentioned earlier, Dark-Life 2 only switches the day and night cycles of the game.
